ISOBUS

We are pleased to work on troubleshooting existing ISOBUS installations that are not functioning and have diagnostic tools that allow us to track the communication occurring behind the scenes. We can convert non-ISOBUS tractors and implements to ISOBUS, bringing them up to date and in accordance with the requirements of contemporary agriculture. Often, this is a cost-effective option to upgrade your existing equipment and add autosteer.

Control Systems 

We are able to “mix and match” from the variety of manufacturers we work with in order to provide you with the optimal control system for your needs. We largely adhere to ISO 11783 (The ISOBUS standard) and work with control systems that provide rate control, section control, tramlines, PWM Nozzle control, Task Control, and a variety of additional capabilities as required.

Welding and Fabrication 

We have a variety of production methods, including Mig, Tig, and Arc welders, and are able to work with ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Past projects have included pipes for food manufacturing facilities, ISO Gates, machine expansions, and other custom-made brackets.

Custom Builds 

We have been featured in several magazines for custom builds that we have carried out for our customers. We are happy to work on building planters, seeders, sprayers, and any other machine that you may need to build either from scratch or based on an existing machine that you have.

We can provide the design work, fabrication, welding, and controls so that your new machine performs just as you need it to.

Air Conditioning / HVAC 

Our specialised equipment enables us to identify problems with Air Conditioning / HVAC in modern agricultural machinery. We differ from the standard re-gas service in that we will use our equipment to take a snapshot of how your Air Conditioning / HVAC operates before we begin working on your machine and again after we’ve completed the repairs so that you can be confident that what we’ve done has resolved the problem you’re experiencing.

Our equipment makes us the obvious alternative for smaller Manufacturers who don’t have their own Air Conditioning / HVAC engineers and require detailed information for warranty returns.
In addition, we are also able to install air conditioning systems in older automobiles.

Trimble is a global leader in machine positioning and control. We specialise in the distribution and installation of their autosteer and guidance product line. To enable steering control, we sell their GFX and TMX displays and provide their NAV 900 and NAV 500 receivers. Depending on the machine that it is being attached to, their products may be utilised as “EZ-Pilot” systems or CAN-based systems. We are experts in installing to equipment that isn’t directly supported by the Trimble line of platform kits, and we’ve had success installing to self-propelled sprayers and off-road trucks, where we had to design customised bosses and brackets to make the system function.
DICKEY-john provides robust sensors and controllers for the control of seeders and planters. With their AEF-certified controller, it’s possible to control up to eight seeder channels or 120 planters rows. We use Radar and shaft rotation sensors from DICKEY-john in all of our control systems as they have been proven to be the most robust and accurate in the industry.
MC Electronics specialise in the control and monitoring of seeders and planters. We supply and fit their Seeder and Planter Blockage and Counting sensors. The counting sensors are 98% accurate and enable you to see seeds/m2 being applied. The sensors can be fitted to just about any type of seeder or planter and can deal with most seeds from small to large. We can integrate the sensors with a control system so that calibration is not required, and the system will then work in a similar way to Vaderstads SeedEye sensors.
VEI Group provides weighing systems that we can fit to just about any forklift, Handler, Loader or trailer. These systems are up to 1% +/- accurate and repeatable and are a cost-effective solution to installing an on-farm weighbridge. We can install the system so that it works from a single point with multiple trailers (For example, on the wall of an outlying grainstore) or on specific machines.
We have tried PWM Amplifiers and Drivers from DICKEY-john, Muller and Microtrak and found them unsatisfactory for the seeders we deal with. We have developed our own PWM driver that allows us to control 100 Amps from the seeder ECU. This is particularly useful when wishing to add a bigger motor or perhaps run more than one motor from the same output to provide section control.
